What is the Cohara Register app?
A till for a business that already uses Cohara. On an iPad it is the full counter: items, cash, card payments on a Stripe reader, refunds and the drawer. On an iPhone it takes an amount and sends the customer a payment link.
How do I connect a device to my business?
Sign in to Cohara on the web and open Sales, then Devices. Under POS devices, type a name for the device and press Add. You get an eight-character code, shown once. Open the app on the device and type the code. Codes expire after 15 minutes, so make a new one if it runs out.
The card reader does not show up
- Make sure the reader is charged and switched on.
- Allow Bluetooth and location for Cohara in the device’s Settings. Card networks require location for in-person payments.
- Check that card payments are connected for the business in Cohara on the web.
How do I stop a device from selling?
In Cohara on the web, open Sales, then Devices, and press Turn off beside the device. It stops selling on its next sale. Nothing on the device can undo that.
How do I delete my account?
Sign in at Cohara on the web and open your account page. You can delete the account there. The register app itself never creates an account.
